I’m thankful for unusually warm days in May, the kind that are like previews of summer. Those days are the perfect excuse to wear shorts, eat ice cream, and watch horror movies. And to be thankful that winter is officially over.

Pre-spring weather. Just like buds echoing the emergence of flowers, warmer temperatures mean one thing: spring is coming. And I can go outside without needing the heavy winter coat!
Today is Monday. The last Monday in February. In other words, this is the last week of February! Don’t get me wrong, February was a good month. But March is when Spring arrives, and I am done with Winter.
Spring starts March 20th. That means only about two more months until Spring! Spring is coming, little birds! Until then, Winter is like that railing: cold, dark, and looming.
